In June 2014, Edge of Tomorrow, a Hollywood adaptation of Japanese light novel All You Need is Kill will be released, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Today, it was revealed that the new year will herald yet another adaptation of the science fiction novel though, as it has just been announced that Takeshi Obata (artist of Death Note) will be illustrating a manga adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's original novel in Weekly Young Jump from 9th January, 2014. What's more is, the manga will be released simultaneously in English via the Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine!
When aliens known as "Mimics" invade, Keiji Kiriya is one of many new recruits forced into what is essentially a suicide mission where he is killed in mere minutes.
